Entry requirements

Applications are now open for courses starting from October

To apply for the General English Language and Skills course,  you must demonstrate a minimum level of 4.5 IELTS in all skills, or an equivalent level in another accepted English language qualification. 

Accepted English language qualifications include:

• TOEFL iBT
• TOEFL "MyBest"
• TOEFL Home Edition

Pearson Test of English (PTE)

• PTE Academic UKVI
• PTE Academic
• PTE Academic Online
• PTE Home
• Duolingo English Test (DET) - 75 or above

After you have applied, you will be invited to attend a short 15-minute online interview to assess your speaking and listening skills and to discuss your learning goals.
